I use the brownie base in this recipe http://f-zilla.blogspot.com/2010/08/chocoholic-heaven-aka-vanilla-cream.html put the "extras" (nuts, coconut, etc) in the bottom of the paper lined muffin tin. Then once the brownies looked pretty much done topped with 1/2 marshmallow baked for 3-5 minutes then turned on the broiler to brown them up a bit. Still have no idea how they turned out salty, I think I must have added a little more than normal...it was good! (try upping the salt by 1/4 teaspoon)

Oh, the memory of those marshmallow brownies....
Can we have the recipe? For the salty ones?

How are the marshmellow brownies after they cool down completely? Do the marshmellows get hard?
Jess, not at all. I think that only happens with the microwave. They were kind of like meringue topping on a pie.
Yum is right!
